Small Orange flowerWhat to Bring to a Scrap a Bunch Retreat

  1. Planned Pages! To maximize your time at a scrapbooking retreat, try to bring planned page kits to the retreat.

  2. Choose the photos, the paper, the embellishments, and possibly a sketch you might use and place all of these into a page protector or a 2 gallon size Ziploc bag(warning-these are not photo safe). Make more of these page kits than you think you will need ... 45 hours is a lot of scrapping time.

  3. Your personal scrapbook supplies. This would include your photos, paper, trimmer, embellishments, markers, pens, tools, adhesives, and anything else you use on a regular basis while scrapbooking.

  4. Your favorite snacks and drinks. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but if you have a favorite you may want to bring it along.
  5. sleeping bag or bedding and pillow
  6. Comfortable, casual clothes that can be layered. The temperature can vary in the cropping room. Pajamas and slippers can be worn all weekend if you like. There will be a most outrageous pajama contest on Friday night.

  7. A closed container for drinks.

  8. A seat cushion is a good idea, 45 hours is a long time to sit.

  9. Motivation, to create a bunch of scrapbook pages.

  10. Openness to making a bunch of new friends.

  11. Camera and extra film to capture all the fun and new friends to scrapbook once you get home. Also to save the images of the scrapbook page ideas that you want to scrap lift once you get home.

  12. Albums or pages you are able to bring to share with others. We all love to see what everyone else is creating.

  13. Cash or checks. On-site vendor does not accept credit cards and there are always things you will want or those that you run out of and need.

  14. A table top shelf for the “back” of your table to hold your supplies. These can be found at Wal-Mart or Target for less than $7.
